Lace closure wig is similar to lace front wig. The closure wig is constructed using a lace closure piece usually 4x4 inches or 5x5 inches in size, while the lace front wig is constructed using an ear to ear frontal which is 13 inches across and 4 or 6 inches to the back.

If you are a beginner, going with a closure wig is the best option. They are great for simple, everyday looks (ex.middle part) and are good for people who want to maintain a certain and exact style. There is less lace to care for and less lace to blend. Needs very little maintenance. More on a budget. And 5x5 closure wig with extended closure size, allows for the look of a frontal, can be also be parted in a variety of ways, achieving a left, right, and middle part.

A lace front wig is ideal for someone who doesn’t mind a little weekly maintenance, in exchange for lots of versatility.
