    Crochet box braids are pre-made braids that are crocheted into your own hair, by using a latch hook tool. It's similar to a full sew in, in the sense that all your hair is braided straight back and the pre-made braids are being latched into the cornrow.

    No, it doesn't break your hair. The only thing that will damage your hair is if your crochet is too closed or the cornrows are too close-knit. You can also encounter breakage if you ignore your hair underneath and don't moisturize it.

    Relying on the parting and fullness you're heading for, you might need up to 2 and a half packs (100 strands).

    You can take care of your hair underneath. To do so, I suggest using one of the leave-in conditioner sprays so that you can moisturize your hair without using heavy creams. It would be most suitable to oil your scalp with hair growth oils so that your scalp braids don't dray out while your hair is in a protective style.

    Wrap or cover your hair in a silk or satin bonnet before you go to bed to reduce any friction in your sleep and to maintain moisure in the hair.

    You can maintain them for up to 6-8 weeks, relying on how your scalp feels. For instance, if it's very hot where you're at, you might only require to hold the crochet in for almost 4 weeks so that your scalp can bring some fresh hair.

    There are endless options! Once you have your braids in you can wear them up, down, in ponys, buns, twists, or even braid your braids.

    Gently pull out your braided hair from the crochet box braids extensions, starting at the base, then un-loop (or un-knot) the crochet box braids extensions.
